For Veterans who would like to learn more about the insurance industry, Starr Companies offers paid internships to students currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree. The summer internship program is an opportunity to learn about the commercial insurance industry through relevant assignments, mentorship, and enlightening discussions from experienced leaders in various departments throughout the company. This program also allows Veterans to further develop their professional skills through training and immersion in the corporate environment.
Starr Global Associates Program
Starr Companies’ Global Associates Program allows Veterans the opportunity to become trained and proficient in their insurance career choice and places them on the fast track on their career progression whether in underwriting, operations, claims, or information technology. Through this selective program, Veterans who are currently finishing or who have recently completed a bachelor’s degree can be a part of an extensive, accelerated training curriculum that allows them the opportunity to gain expert, overall knowledge of the insurance industry.
