Launch Plus In Orbit Risks
Physical damage coverage for the spacecraft and launch system; any additional costs from initial ignition of the launch vehicle until spacecraft separation. Post separation from the Launch Vehicle provides coverage for orbital slot positioning, full deployment and spacecraft testing. Periods can range from launch flight only up to 12 months In-Orbit coverage. Preferred sectors – Telecommunications, Satellite Radio, Infrared Systems, Imaging Satellites, Data and Mobile constellations, Launch Service providers, Satellite Manufacturers, Governmental agencies.
In-Orbit Coverage
Protects against the risk of a complete or partial failure of the satellite while operating in space. Preferred sectors – Telecommunications, Satellite Radio, Infrared Systems, Imaging Satellites, Data and Mobile constellations, Launch Service providers, Satellite Manufacturers, Governmental agencies.
Transponder Coverage
Provides protection against the loss of one or more transponders being used on an operating satellite. Preferred sectors – Telecommunications, Satellite Radio, Infrared Systems, Imaging Satellites, Data and Mobile constellations, Launch Service providers, Satellite Manufacturers, Governmental agencies.
Satellite Incentive Coverage
Protects satellite manufacturers against loss of incentive payments due to lack of guaranteed performance of a satellite. Preferred sectors – Telecommunications, Satellite Radio, Infrared Systems, Imaging Satellites, Data and Mobile constellations, Launch Service providers, Satellite Manufacturers, Governmental agencies.
Launch Risk Guarantee
Provides for full (or partial) cost of another launching if the satellite fails to reach its intended orbit, is destroyed, or if its functions are impaired resulting from a launch vehicle malfunction. Preferred sectors – Telecommunications, Satellite Radio, Infrared Systems, Imaging Satellites, Data and Mobile constellations, Launch Service providers, Satellite Manufacturers, Governmental agencies.
Space Third Party Legal Liability
Provides launch agencies and satellite owners with liability coverage in respect of bodily injury and/or property damage arising from launch vehicle and/or satellite malfunctions. Preferred sectors – Launch Service providers and Satellite Manufacturers and Satellite Operators.
